I never imagined that my artwork would be exhibited in Dubai, let alone being selected among 800 other entries. It's an experience that I will never forget. It all started in 2018 with an idea inspired by the TV series, Mr. Robot. As a fine art photographer, I was able to bring my vision to life. I was lucky enough to have friends that supported me in my passion, and without them, this exhibition would not have been possible.
Inspiration Behind the Artwork
The excerpt from Mr. Robot captured the essence of what I wanted to express in my artwork. It talks about synthetic emotions, brainwashing seminars, and controlled isolated bubbles, and how far we have strayed from reality. We live in a world where everything seems to be fake, and it's hard to find what is real. This idea resonated with me, and I knew that it would be perfect for my artwork.
The Exhibition Experience
Being at the exhibition was overwhelming. Seeing my artwork framed and hung along with other artists who share the same passion was an unforgettable experience. I didn't expect people to be interested in my artwork, let alone ask me about it, but it was humbling to see people admire and appreciate my work.
As a first-timer in the art exhibition scene, I was nervous, but the feedback I received from visitors and other artists was positive. It was an honor to be selected, and I felt blessed to have my artwork displayed in a prestigious location.
The experience of exhibiting my artwork for the first time in Dubai is one that I will cherish forever. It's proof that passion can take you places you never imagined, and it's never too late to start pursuing your dreams. My journey as a fine art photographer is just beginning, and I can't wait to see where it takes me.
